where to begin...

B lost a chunk of his cornea. Then lost his voice to laryngitis. And in the middle got a new position at work. We were told we may move to Hungary, then Houston, but now neither. D popped 4 teeth at once. An ear infection followed. Our dog died.


I've written enough blogs in my head over the course of these past six weeks for a short story compilation. And yet none of them have been written...or posted. For that I am truly sorry. What I can offer now is a vow renewal of sorts. Ok, I'm not technically going to "vow" anything because that's a bit creepy and life's just too bipolar to put that type of thing in writing.Basically, what I want to say is: I'm back.


I'm discovering some new recipes I'd love to post for their sheer brilliance in managing to make me lick my fingers but not feel angry an hour later. I'm also gritting my teeth through Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred DVD in the hopes of punching my sweat glands in the face. And I'm feeling crafty again. Time to whip out some mod podge, throw the hair in a pony and re-purpose some stuff.


And spring is peeking its head over the horizon, bringing with it D's first birthday, our first family vacation (to the beach) and longer days in which to fill with warm weather fun. I feel good today...hopeful...spunky. I think it's "go time" ladies and gents--time to kick back more glasses of crazy. Those glasses were kicking me this winter, BUT YA KNOW WHAT GLASSES?? WINTER'S JUST ABOUT OVER!
